Our history

Harris Investment Management was established on the 1st of January 1987 by the principal Alan S Harris.

Alan Harris celebrated 25 years in the financial services industry on 6 November 2003.  He joined Phoenix Assurance (latterly Royal & Sun Alliance) on that date in 1978 and moved to Provincial Life (Prolific Unit Trusts) the following year, where he rose to the postion of Senior Life Inspector.  In 1986 he progressed to the role of Development Manager for the South East of England with Eagle Star International.

Alan Harris was a Director of the The Financial Intermediaries, Managers and Brokers Regulatory Association (FIMBRA) and a member of its Disciplinary and Membership Committees from 1992 to 1997.
